Job Opportunity – Chinese Language Translator (2 Positions)
Location: Tanga, Tanzania
Industry: Cement Manufacturing

We are seeking two qualified Chinese Language Translators to join our dynamic team in the cement manufacturing sector. This is a great opportunity for talented language professionals to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented industrial environment.

Position Overview
As a Chinese Language Translator, you will play a crucial role in bridging communication between our local and Chinese-speaking teams. You will be responsible for translating both oral and written communications, ensuring accuracy, cultural sensitivity, and clear understanding across technical and operational contexts.

Key Responsibilities:
• Translate documents, technical manuals, and reports from Chinese (Mandarin) to English and Swahili, and vice versa.
• Provide real-time interpretation during meetings, site visits, and training sessions.
• Assist in facilitating communication between management, engineers, and operational teams.
• Ensure accurate translation of technical terms used in the cement manufacturing industry.
• Support administrative and project-related communications as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese at HSK Level 5 or HSK Level 6.
• Excellent communication skills in Mandarin Chinese, English, and preferably Swahili.
• Previous experience in translation/interpretation, preferably within an industrial or technical environment.
• Strong attention to detail and cultural awareness.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, team-oriented environment.
