Jhpiego, a global health leader and affiliate of Johns Hopkins University, is hiring for several key positions to support its upcoming RISE Burundi Maternal, Newborn, Child Health, and Nutrition (MNCH-N) project. This initiative aims to strengthen lifesaving health services in Burundi, with an integrated approach to HIV, nutrition, maternal and child care, and health system resilience.

1. Project Director – MNCH-N (RISE Project)
Location: Burundi
Mission: Lead the strategic, technical, and operational execution of the MNCH-N project while ensuring alignment with HIV programming.

Key Duties:
• Direct and manage all aspects of the project
• Ensure coordination with donors, government, and partners
• Oversee financial, HR, and MEL operations
Required:
• Advanced degree (MD, MPH, PhD)
• 9+ years’ experience in public health programs, especially MNCH/Nutrition
• Strong leadership in low-resource settings

2. & 3. Senior Program Officer (x2) – MNCH-N
Location: Burundi
Mission: Provide operational and coordination support to ensure efficient project implementation in humanitarian and conflict-affected areas.

Key Duties:
• Support planning, budgeting, and logistics
• Monitor implementation progress
• Liaise with stakeholders and HIV program teams

Required:
• Bachelor’s (Master’s preferred) in Public Health, Development, or related field
• 6+ years’ experience in international health/development projects
• Strong communication, organizational, and budgeting skills

4. Nutrition Technical Advisor – MNCH-N
Location: Burundi
Mission: Provide expert guidance on nutrition integration within the broader MNCH framework.

Key Duties:
• Design and lead nutrition interventions (IYCF, CMAM, SAM/MAM)
• Support health worker training and supervision
• Integrate nutrition into ANC/PNC and child health services

Required:
• Advanced degree in Nutrition or Public Health
• 6+ years in large-scale nutrition programming
• Proven field experience in low-resource settings

5. Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH) Technical Advisor
Location: Burundi
Mission: Lead technical implementation of MNCH services with an emphasis on integration, quality, and referral systems.

Key Duties:
• Supervise regional MNCH teams
• Provide expertise on ANC, delivery, PNC, IMNCI
• Promote respectful maternity care and data-driven decision-making

Required:
• Advanced degree in Medicine, Public Health, or Nursing
• 6+ years of MNCH experience
• Strong technical and leadership skills in community and facility-based health programs
