Surveyor for High-Voltage Transmission Line Projects

A leading energy infrastructure company is seeking a qualified Surveyor to join its team and support the development of high-voltage transmission lines (11kV to 132kV and above). This role involves critical on-site survey work, ensuring precise alignment and planning for energy transmission routes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive route surveys for transmission lines (11kV–132kV+)
• Use modern instruments (GPS, total station, theodolite) for precise measurement
• Develop route alignment plans and detailed site profiles
• Mark pole/tower positions and propose optimal right-of-way (RoW) paths
• Liaise with local authorities and landowners during field visits
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
• Create survey drawings, maps, and technical documentation
• Provide field data to engineering teams for design and implementation
• Track and report deviations from planned alignments
• Coordinate with civil and electrical teams for tower erection and foundation layouts
• Maintain accurate survey logs, field notes, and daily reports
Ideal Candidate:
• Experienced in route surveys for electrical transmission lines
• Skilled in handling modern surveying tools and software
• Strong field coordination and reporting capabilities
• Knowledgeable about regulatory and safety compliance
