RIU Hotels & Resorts – Income Controller (Income Auditor)
Location: Riu Jambo, Zanzibar

RIU Hotels & Resorts, a global hospitality leader with over 100 hotels in 20+ countries and 70 years of excellence, is recruiting an Income Controller to join its Zanzibar team. The role focuses on ensuring the financial integrity of hotel operations by auditing and reconciling all revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and verify daily income transactions including cash, credit cards, and bank deposits.
• Audit revenue from all hotel departments (Front Desk, F&B, Housekeeping, Reservations).
• Ensure compliance by reviewing vouchers, discounts, upgrades, and charges.
• Investigate discrepancies and report irregularities to management.
• Prepare daily and periodic audit reports and maintain accurate financial documentation.
• Conduct cash counts and oversee cashier performance and system access controls.
Profile & Qualifications:
• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in income audit or similar roles, preferably in 4- or 5-star hotels.
• Knowledge of hotel accounting systems (Opera/Fidelio, Micros, SunSystem) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and high integrity in handling confidential information.
• Fluency in English required; Swahili or other languages are an advantage.
